A Fox Kit
Even before she earned fame under the name “Freckle,” this fox kit was a free thinker.
The rest of her siblings were content playing with a slobbered, straggly quail paw, but after a couple of jumps, Freckle saw right through the sham: the quail paw showed no initiative, had no independent drive. It did not push back.
What Freckle wanted was a real toy…
A golf ball!
White, light, plucky, shiny, adventurous.
Golf balls had flair! They were round. They rolled unpredictably after their long flight. They were bred around the Scared Hare Golf Club, by Golf Club Humans.
